QEVO Brand Identity

A warm product-brand system for a forward-moving QEVO mark, coral-and-cream palette, and practical rollout assets.

A detailed brand design project for QEVO, created on 21 Sept 2024 around the promise of smarter solutions and stronger momentum. The identity combines a rounded Q symbol, friendly EVO wordmark, coral orange energy, and soft cream balance into a flexible system for digital products, social channels, presentations, packaging, apparel, and office touchpoints.

Role

Brand identity designer

Outcome

I created a complete visual identity direction with logo concept rationale, construction notes, typography exploration, color palette rules, social preview artwork, and real-world mockups across app icon, website header, business card, packaging, presentation slide, social profile, email signature, apparel, merch, and signage.

The Challenge

QEVO needed a mark that could feel energetic without becoming noisy. The identity had to be modern, friendly, and memorable, while still being simple enough for app icons, website headers, social previews, presentation slides, and physical brand applications. The system also needed to make the Q feel purposeful rather than decorative.

The Approach

I treated the Q as the strategic anchor: a circular form for continuity, a cut-through center for clarity, and a small arrow-like tail for forward movement. The wordmark was kept rounded and heavy so it could sit beside the symbol with equal visual weight. From there, I built the palette around coral orange for energy, soft cream for warmth, charcoal for readability, and selective secondary accents for future campaign flexibility.

How it works

Logo concept and construction

The identity starts with a friendly Q that feels like it is in motion. A circular body keeps the mark simple and memorable, while the angled tail suggests growth and forward movement. The surrounding construction notes, spacing, and typography exploration make the logo feel intentional instead of improvised.

Color palette system

Coral orange became the main brand color because it feels warm, energetic, and memorable. Soft cream balances the system for approachable surfaces, while charcoal, slate, light gray, warm white, and white protect readability. Secondary accents such as deep teal, sage green, sky blue, mustard, and lavender give QEVO room to expand into campaigns and product states.

Brand expression

The main brand poster turns the system into a confident first impression. The logo sits large against coral, the tagline gives the brand a clear product promise, and subtle motion graphics support the Q concept without distracting from the wordmark. The supporting cues, fast, reliable, and focused, translate the identity into a product personality.

Application system

The identity was checked across the surfaces a modern project brand naturally needs: app icon, landing-page header, business card, product packaging, presentation slide, social profile, email signature, apparel, mug, and office signage. This makes the design feel like a usable brand system rather than a single isolated logo.

Social and SEO preview

The wide social artwork gives QEVO a clean share image that can represent the brand in cards, links, and public previews. It keeps the logo centered and highly legible, uses the primary color story, and leaves the brand feeling modern without relying on a crowded composition.
